Arizona Geriatrics Society Fall Symposium - Non-members

The Fall Symposium is a continuation of our Spring Conference Theme - Geriatrics for Primary Care. We have an exciting line-up of topics including anticoagulation in the older adult, new diabetes and hypertension guidelines, what's new in osteoporosis, and a review of dementias. Pharmacology updates will include the updated Beers List and pharmacologic treatment of the behaviors of dementia. Also social determinants of health will be addressed, as well as financial exploitationof the older adult. And practical knowledge in the workup of dizziness, oral cavity care, and preventing long term urinary catheter blockage will be presented. Long term care quality issues is also on the roster, as are new innovations for care of the older adult. Our speakers are experts in their field in the state of Arizona.
